Would You Attend Online High School?

If you could attend your classes wearing PJs and in the comfort of your home, would you do it? Online high schools are growing in popularity and The Wallstreet Journal estimates that 100,000 of the 12 million high school students attend online school full time. That's up from 30,000 students just five years ago!

Some schools follow a rigid curriculum where they have class schedules and meet in a virtual classroom via video feed. Other schools allow the students to work on their own time and come up with a schedule that works for them. Online classes attract gifted students who feel they're more advanced than their peers and want to work at their own pace. It's also ideal for students who have a professional life as an athlete, or as an actor.

Some critics are not so keen on the digital HS idea because students will lack in social interaction.
