Devin's Accepted! College Worries Are Over

Hey everyone!

I HAVE GOOD NEWS...I GOT INTO BOSTON COLLEGE!!!! Ahhhh! I was sooo psyched when I opened the letter. It's now on my fridge, haha. My mom also completely freaked out. She kept running around like she just had 6 red bulls, I eventually had to lock myself in my room. :) I am SO relieved I have a college to go next year, where I know I'll have a great time. I am going to the accepted students' day this coming Sunday, so hopefully I'll meet some cool new people. Ew, the only thing is, I'm mad I have to wait until the summer to find out who my roommate is going to be! But! At least my sister and I will be going to the same school. THAT should be interesting, haha.

Ok, now onto prom! See what Devin says about limo drama. So now that college worry is out of the way, get ready for prom! A huge issue at my junior prom was the limo. Be sure to never leave anyone out. No one wants to go to prom alone, or with a date that they don't know very well! Last year, we had too many people for one limo, so my friends split up into two groups. It was okay, but this year, we're going to get a party bus! They can fit up to 8 or 10 couples, so now there is room for everyone!

If you can't decide who to take a limo with, and you're freaking out, just remember...it's probably less than a half hour ride, and the actual prom is the thing that should have all your attention. Here's a tip! If you and some of your friends are going in different limos, have everyone meet at the same persons house before for pictures. That way both the limo drivers can pick you all up there.

FYI, I would start figuring out this limo issue now, before it gets too late and all the limos are booked, or the group you want to go with can't fit you and your date in. The limo companies are super strict about the number of people they can take. Try to get a good deal too. Remember, the more people, the less money it costs.

Another tip! My friends and I made a couple of CDs for the car ride...we played some pump up music, so we didn't have to listen to the lame radio and have awkward moments with commercials. I have to figure all that out soon, because I only have 10 days of school left!

P.S. -- I decided that I am going to do my month of senior service at the elementary school I used to go to, and I get to work with my old teacher.

Okay, the end. Hope this helped!
