Maci and Ryan started off as a typical high school couple but everything changed when Maci found out she was pregnant. At 16, Maci and Ryan had to grow up real fast and make very adult choices. She invited the MTV cams to document her through the trials and tribulations of teen pregnancy and parenthood on 16 and Pregnant.
What made you want to do 16 and Pregnant?
When I first decided to sign up for it, I figured that if it went like I'd planned then it would show people that teen pregnancy, as bad of a situation people think it is, there are actually people out there who try to make the best of their situation and actually work really hard to have a normal life and give their child everything they can. And that it's not just a negative thing and that it can actually be positive.
