So far, Jan's been fired from corporate; Ryan the temp got her job; and Jan's been living under Michael's roof. Pam and Jim are finally together! But Dwight and Angela called it quits after Dwight mercy killed her cat. Don't ask. Now that's you're all caught up…

Jan sues Dunder Mifflin for wrongful termination, and Michael and Jan drive up to New York for the deposition. The big question is, will Michael remain the ever-loyal Dunder Mifflin employee, or will he break down and side with Jan? Jan's worried about it, too, so she quizzes Michael on his answers and has him memorize favorable responses. But when he says "Yesh" right off the bat, we know the deposition is going down the tube. Michael can't resist but squeeze in a "That's what she said," and gets tripped up by the lawyer's lingo. After a few surprises and turns (Michael's diary, Jan's topless pic taken in Jamaica), he wisely says, "You expect to get screwed by your company, but you never expect to get screwed by your girlfriend."
