Previously on Gossip Girl…

Chuck's dad, Bart seems to genuinely like his secret GF, Serena's mom, Lily. When Bart finally tells Lily that he wants to take their relationship public, she says she wants to tell the kids first. Chuck walks in and catches them mid-smooch. (Well, one of them knows now!) But Bart tells Chuck to keep what he saw a secret. Chuck changes the subject by introducing his new scheme -- investing in the Victrola, a burlesque club. Bart's thrilled that Chuck's interested in something besides partying, and Chuck's stoked to get parental approval. But that quickly fades when Bart visits the club and spots Chuck making out with a burlesque performer. Bart leaves disappointed, and Chuck sees him get into a car with a hot Asian woman -- definitely not Lily van der Woodsen. The next morning, Lily sees Chuck wasted and tries to give him guidance, but Chuck doles out his own advice, telling Lily that Bart is cheating on her. Later, Chuck is at the Victrola when Bart arrives with the Asian woman -- a reporter who's profiling on Bart, not his booty call. Bart tells Chuck he's into the Victrola idea and that he's proud of him. And in a rare move of honesty, Chuck tells Bart what he told Lily, and Bart rushes out to set things right.
