Since Cristina gave her apartment to Callie, the Chief still has no place to call home. So, Derek gives him a little space on his land and they become trailer neighbors. Both docs are totally stressing about their relationship, the chief with his divorce and Derek with the same commitment issue that's been plaguing his relationship with Meredith since day one. The Chief suggests a "gentlemen's night" to relax. What exactly entails a gentlemen's night? Derek and Sloan can't seem to figure it out either, but it’s just a night without any ladies. Once "the new Burke," Dr. Hahn finds out, she confronts the chief and called him out on discriminating against women. As if she wasn’t already miffed enough about this, the Chief’s surgery interrogations put her over the edge.
