Previously on Gossip Girl…

Things are looking up: Blair and Serena have called a truce, and Blair’s Mom, Eleanor asks Blair to be the face of her fashion collection, Waldorf Designs. Serena joins Blair at the Waldorf photo shoot for moral support, and while Blair strikes her fiercest poses, the photographer complains that she's too prim and stiff. Serena jumps to her BFF's aid and gets her loosen up and have some fun. "Roar like a lion! You're Britney with the umbrella!" The photographer snaps some more pics and all is well…until the proofs come back and it turns out that Serena makes a much better model than Blair. So…Blair's out, Serena’s in. Rather than tell her daughter the truth, Eleanor tells Blair the photog wants to go in a different direction. But when Blair shows up at the next shoot to goof on her replacement, she sees Serena posing in her place! Of course, drama queen Blair assumes the worst and accuses her of trying to steal the spotlight. Serena tries to explain that Eleanor tricked her too (she had no idea that Blair was axed), but Blair won't listen and says, "You take everything from me -- Nate, my Mom. You can't even help it. It's who you are." Ouch.
