From the looks of it, Dan's disapproval about Serena has less to do with her wronging her BFF, but about her belonging to the "in" crowd. To him, lying and cheating is something that goes along with being wealthy. But should one mistake determine who you are as a person? We think not. What she did in her past has nothing to do with who she is now, and more importantly, it has nothing to do with Dan. OK, the pressure of Ivy Week may be getting to him, but just 'cause he's glum that his family lacks the money, social status, and connections to get into whatever college he wants, it doesn't give him the right to take it out of Serena. After all, he doesn't like people judging him for not having money, so why should he be mean to Serena for her family's financial sitch? Money or no money, it's how you treat other people that really determines who you are as a person. But we like Dan, so we're glad he finally came to his senses, stopped being a doofus, and realized that you can't judge a girl by her past.
