Avoid The Rumor Mill

There are three things you can count on in life -- death, taxes, and gossip. Unfortunately, people are gonna talk. And while you can't completely avoid being gossip fodder, you can take measures to prevent it. Take Rachel Bilson for example -- she's one of our fave celebs, yet we never hear about her in the tabloids 'cause she doesn't put herself out there in the limelight. This sweetheart has lots of friends and fun, but she doesn't do it in a super public way -- she's not a hardcore partier, and she doesn't hookup with loads of guys. Even when she dates fellow stars, like Adam Brody or Hayden Christensen, she doesn't flaunt it in front of the paparazzi. The moral of the story? The less scandalous stuff you put into the universe, the fewer rumors you're gonna cause. (P.S. -- that also means don't play into gossip either 'cause karma's a beeyatch!)
