Mike Lobel
How did you learn about sex?
I had really awesome parents. Very liberal, open, and honest. They preferred that I knew the truth from an early age and they preferred that I heard it from them. So I had a book, Where Did I Come From?
Were they just as liberal with your sister?
Being a guy is different than what girls would go through. I think they were a little bit liberal with me, and probably more protective of my sister than they were with me. It's an awkward conversation to have with your parents. But they really made sure to constantly check in and see where I was at and make it feel like it wasn't a bad thing -- that it was natural. They just wanted me to know what the deal was.
