If Degrassi took place in 1890s Germany, the show would be something like Broadway's new hit musical, Spring Awakening. The show follows a group of friends as they tackle issues like abuse, sexuality, pressure, suicide, and more. Minus the clothes and hairstyles, the musical is pretty spot-on when it comes to the trials that still affect you today. Recently, Degrassi's Mike Lobel, Stacey Farber, Shane Kippel, Lauren Collins, Aubrey Graham, and Adamo Ruggiero had a sit down with Rosie O'Donnell and the cast Spring Awakening to have an open forum on sex, love, pressure, and identity. (Bonus: Zack Braff introduced the event!) The result? An open and honest look at teen life of yesterday and today.
