Konnichiwa! Adventures in the Far East!

Some teens go to summer camp, some stay home and watch reruns, but our old pal Kristen got to travel halfway around the world this summer! Read on to hear all about her awesome trip to Japan and prepare to be jealous!

Konnichiwa! Prom-blogger-turned-travel-expert Kristen here! This summer I had the awesome opportunity of visiting Japan for two weeks with my dad to celebrate my liberation (oops, I meant graduation!) from high school. I first found out that I would be embarking on the trip of a lifetime at X-mas and since then, I researched, planned, and booked (with Dad's help, of course!) the specifics of our Japanese journey. I was definitely anxious about the language barrier, the notoriously complicated Tokyo subway systems, or even the slices of sashimi (raw fish) I could expect to see on my plate. But my excitement of seeing Okinowa, Tokyo and Hawaii definitely outweighed my fears! Read on for deets!
