Clearly you haven’t been watching The Hills, lady. Number one rule of friendship, don’t mack on your BFF’s guy. We don’t care if he’s just a crush or a full on ex, it is a giant no-no in the girl world. Just look at what happened to Jenn Bunney and Lauren! JB carelessly hooked up with LC’s maybe, soon-to-be boyfriend Brody and lost her BFF forever (or at least the next few episodes.) A 15-year-relationship done and done because of a super lame dude. So we say again: Don’t do it.

But maybe you won’t mind the consequences of this illegal hookup, since it sounds like you’re not a true BFF anyway. Not to be harsh, but in the words of LC, what you’re planning is really “shady.” A true blue BFF would never even have to think this scenario through because the obvious answer is always “BFFs before Bros.” So while your girl is crying on your shoulder this weekend, give your friendship a closer look. You don’t want to end up a Jenn Bunney. Trust us.
