"My brother blabbed to my whole family that I wasn't a virgin!"

You Said:
"During Thanksgiving dinner, my brother and I were bickering as usual. We kept throwing insults at each other and finally my parents got sick of us arguing and told us to can it. My Mom took my side and told him to stop bothering me, and that pissed him off so he blabbed to the entire family that I wasn't a virgin anymore! I didn't know what to say after that, so I just left the table. What can I do to get back at my brother and make amends with my 'rents?"

We Say:
As much as you want to plot your revenge against your brother and make him as embarrassed as you were, you'd better hold off on that. Do you really want to stoop that low? Instead just talk to him and let him know that what he did really hurt you. Plus, you weren't all that innocent either, were you?

As for your 'rents -- maybe you don't have a very open relationship with your parents, but maybe you can see this as a blessing in disguise. So even if it'll be a little awkward and uncomfortable, you have to have the talk. This gives you a chance to be honest with your parents and opens the door to communication. Explain to your parents that you're with a guy you trust, and you guys are in a committed relationship (we hope). Your maturity will help you gain their trust and they'll see that you're being responsible.
