"I lied to my Mom!"

My Mom and I struck a deal that I could get my ears pierced when I got my period. So I told my Mom that I got my period when I was in the 6th grade, but I didn't get it until nearly a year later! I felt really bad when I got them pierced. For a year, I had to pick a week in the month and waste tampons and pads by chucking them out so she didn't find out that I was faking. I was so relieved when I finally got my period!
