"We gave the wrong directions to tourists."

I was in the city hanging out with my friends and a tourist couple came up to us to ask for directions. The couple was really rude and obnoxious. I would normally be really nice, but they talked to us like we were stupid and we didn’t understand what they were saying. So we gave them the wrong directions. Instead of telling them how to get to where they wanted to go, we led them off to the opposite direction. Oh well, serves them right for being mean!
