"I double booked my dates!"
I've been single for a while, and I really wanted to find a BF. So when my co-worker asked me out, I said yes, even though I wasn't really into him. A few days later, my crush asked me to go to a movie with him the next day. I didn't even hesitate and said yes right away. But a few hours later, I realized that I had double booked the two dates! I didn't want to cancel on my crush, and I felt too guilty to ditch my co-worker, especially because he had asked me first. The only logical thought was to have dinner with my co-worker, then fake being sick to get out early and then hit the movies with my crush. I have really bad luck and I thought I might get caught, so I made my crush take me to a theater that was really far away. (I lied and said my ex worked at the local theater and that he might get mad to see me with someone else.) Lo and behold, my plan worked and both dates went smoothly. I'm dating my crush now and he's the one and only guy in my life, but he has no idea that he was the encore presentation on our first date.
