"She left me on my B-day to hook up with my crush!"
I was grounded on my B-day, and to make matters worse, I was worried the guy I was "talking" to might be losing interest in me. At the time, my BFF seemed really understanding and supportive. She played up the whole "I'm here for you" role, and suggested that I talk to my step Mom to see if she could convince my Dad into letting me go out. I took her advice, and while I was downstairs talking, my BFF was on the computer chatting with friends. I finally got my step Mom to talk to my Dad, and he actually said yes! I was so happy; I ran upstairs to tell my BFF. At first, she was excited, but then she said she actually couldn't go out with me that night because she had unexpected "family plans." Then she said she had just finished talking to my guy, and he had said he couldn't make it either. I was so bummed out! My B-day was just not looking up, but I understood if they were both stuck doing something else. When my BFF left, I went back to my room to check my e-mail. It turned out that my BFF had forgotten to close her IM boxes, and I saw exactly what she had said to my guy. My BFF was telling him that I couldn't do anything on my B-day so she'd much rather ditch me and hang out with him later! Then, they were talking about hooking up, and she told him not to tell me 'cause I liked him a lot. I confronted my BFF about it, and she said she "wouldn't do that to me", and that they were just joking. I so don't believe her, and I know my guy isn't interested anymore. I can't believe she'd try to steal my crush on my B-day. What a Beeyatch!
