There's this guy I've had a crush on for just about forever. He knew I liked him, but I always thought he was in love with my BFF. When my BFF tried to hook us up, he said no. I was a little depressed, but at least I got a reality check and could move on. Unfortunately, I only started to like him more. I finally decided to tell him straight up. To my surprise, he said he liked me too! We started dating, and in my eyes we had the perfect relationship. He even told me that he loved me! Then, on our senior trip, I heard from a close friend that he was dating me because he felt sorry for me and to make my BFF happy. And even though my BFF knew the whole time, she didn't tell me! I dumped him, but in time I forgave my BFF. Even though she says she was just trying to make me happy, I think I'll keep my crushes to myself next time.
