"They cheered me up when I had to move!"
When I was 15, my parents decided they wanted to move to Florida. I had lived in Virginia my whole life, and I was really upset to have to leave my school and all of my friends. One day, my friend Brittany invited my boyfriend and I to a cookout at her house. I was really excited to go, but sad at the same time 'cause I was leaving in a few days. When I arrived at her house, I walked in and low-and-behold all my friends were there! They had decorated the whole place, brought presents, and made a ton of food. They had all planned a surprise going away party for me! I was so touched. It was a great day, and everyone cried when I eventually had to go home. When I finally moved, and got settled into my new house, three of my closest friends actually bought plane tickets and flew down to visit me! They stayed for two weeks, and we had the best time ever. I also got e-mails every week from my other friends, and it definitely made moving a lot easier. I'll never forget what they did for me!
