"She didn't want to be seen with me!"
My BFF, Erica, and I have been friends since the third grade, and she's always been there for me whenever I have a problem. I've never gotten along well with girls, so the majority of my friends have always been guys. At the beginning of the summer, people started a rumor that I had hooked up with all these random guys. It was a complete lie, but I was still so pissed! Two weeks later, a new rumor was floating that I had slept with all my guy friends, and that's why they hung out with me. When I saw my BFF, instead of comforting me and telling me to ignore it (which other BFFs would do), she told me to stop talking to all of my guy friends. She said she didn't want whoever started the rumors to start calling her a slut, too! I was so hurt! I couldn't believe she even said it. Then, I saw her brother a few days later, and he said my BFF "didn't want to be seen with me."! It's been two weeks, and we still haven’t spoken. I'm still waiting for her to apologize, 'cause I know that I didn’t do anything wrong!
