"She was my personal tutor when I was in the hospital!"

When I was a freshman in high school, I had to get a scoliosis operation in the middle of the school year, and I was out of school for over seven weeks. It was horrible! I was in so much pain, and I was just miserable! In order to keep up with my schoolwork, I had a tutor come to my house. But she didn't help much at all, and I was started to struggle with my work. My best friend, Mary, came over whenever she had free time. She would always bring over my favorite candy and would spend hours going through each of my subjects with me. A lot of my friends didn't know what to say when I was in the hospital, but she was the one friend who helped me get through it. I don't know what I would have done without her!
