My former BFF didn't just stab me in the back -- she actually broke the law to hurt my feelings. We were BFFs since 2nd grade, but a couple months ago, things began to change: For the first time in our lives, one of us had a BF, and the other didn't. I was the one who got lucky with love, and she just couldn't be happy for me. I begged her to be more understanding, but she wouldn't. Eventually her jealousy got the best of her, and she started treating me really badly. When I realized she wasn't taking my calls and she'd moved out of "our" locker, I knew our friendship was over. But a week later, she called me up out of the blue to apologize and make amends (or so I thought!), and we talked for over an hour. Since I trusted her, I shared private details about my relationship probs and how I thought a split was inevitable. The next day, I got an angry phone call from my BF (now ex!). He broke up with me because he said someone left a tape recording of me bad mouthing our relationship in front of his gym locker. He had no clue who sent it, but I did. I can't believe she stooped so low!
