Char and I met in sixth grade, and we were inseparable until our sophomore year of college. We both had been dating our boyfriends for many years, and the four of us got along great -- until Dave and I got engaged. Char works for an expensive jewelry store and when she heard that Dave was ring shopping, she insisted that he get one from her. Too bad all the rings were over $5,000!
