"She made me a party when my parent's got divorced!"
This past year, two weeks before Christmas my parents got a divorce. I was so upset that I didn't go to school for a week. Then, to make things even worse, I had to decide which 'rent I wanted to spend Christmas with. I kept making up excuses and putting off having to choose. The day before vacation I even stayed late at school to work on a project. When I finished working, I went to the school gym to wait for my mom to pick me up. When I got there, the gym was decorated in streamers and banners, and all of my friend's jumped out and hugged me. My BFF had gotten permission from school to plan a Christmas party for me! I went around thanking everyone, and I even saw my ex had come. We ended up talking, and he asked me to go back out with him! I couldn't believe my friends had done all of it for me, and for a little while it helped me get over the divorce. The best part was, that when my parents heard how upset I was at having to choose for the holiday, they decided to spend Christmas together one last time. That was one Christmas present I'll never forget!
