Going into high school, I had four really close friends. We made a pact that if we ever fought, we wouldn't reveal each other's secrets -- no matter what. Right before the beginning of school, I had sex for the first time with a guy who was three years older than me. (We never dated but we talked for two months, and we were really close.) Three months later, one of my friends and I got in a huge fight. She was friends which a bunch of girls that I never got along with, and they're the most gossipy girls in school. A few days after our fight, everyone was talking about the fact that I had sex with that guy. I was so upset and mortified. I guess she wasn't a good friend to begin with.
