"She invited me over and then ditched me!"

My friend invited me over to her little sister's birthday party. I didn't think it would be fun, but I hadn't seen my friend in a long time, so I said I would. When I got there, I noticed another friend of mine sitting at a table, so I thought, "The more, the merrier" and sat with her. The next thing I knew, they had both gotten up and walked to her room, so I followed. Then, they went in the pool, and I followed them again. They got out of the pool one minute later and went back into the house. By then, I was tired of being ignored and decided to just stay in the pool by myself. When I walked back into the house to change, I passed my friends, who gave me dirty looks. I ended up hanging out with my friend's little sis and her friends for the rest of the party. Maybe three really is crowd.
