"She didn't show up when I had surgery!"

My BFF got in an argument with her ex boyfriend, and I tried to be the peacemaker and break it up. She got back in her car, and when I went to get back in the passenger side, her ex started to argue with me. We argued for a few seconds, and then he punched me in the face! We went to the emergency room and found out that I had to have two separate surgeries -- he had broken my nose, cheekbone, and eye socket! I asked my BFF to be there when I woke up from the operation, but when I came to after six hours under the knife, she wasn't anywhere to be found! When I called and asked her why she didn't show up, she said she had to meet some guy off of MySpace and acted like I didn't get punched in the face for defending her! What a friend, right?!
