This girl Chelsea got into a fight with a bunch of my friends, and they started to hate her. I felt bad because Chelsea didn't have a lot of friends, so I decided to give her a chance. We started hanging out and became really close. One day we got into a huge fight for no reason. We were at this water park, Wild Waves, so we shared a locker for our clothes and stuff. When I asked her for the key, she wouldn't give it to me. (She thought that I'd steal her stuff, even though I'd never do that!). I heard rumors later that she threw my clothes on the ground. That night, she came to my house to return my stuff. She apologized, so I forgave her. Now she's starting to say stuff behind my back. I don't want to lose her as a friend because she's really fun to hang out with, but did I do the right thing by forgiving her?
