"She made a competition out of who people liked better -- her or me!"

My friend Emily was getting jealous of me because I had more friends than she did. She starting hanging with my friends, and I was OK with that until she started to try to get them to hate me. One day, Emily started polling people about whom they liked better -- her or me -- and making a big list of the responses. I heard about what she was doing, so I confronted her. She said she didn't write the list, but I knew not to believe her. When I told my Mom about what Emily was doing, she got the school social worker involved, and Emily hasn't been mean to me since. I'll never forgive her for what she did. PS -- I ended up winning!
