"She stood me up for our BFF superlative picture!"
My BFF and I were nominated for the Best Female Friends superlative at our high school. Naturally, we won since we've been friends since elementary school. The entire week, she reminded me that we were taking our yearbook picture the following Monday. That weekend, I had to go out of town to see a family member. I didn't come back until Monday morning at 3 a.m. I was so tired, but I knew I had to take my picture that day and my BFF would be devastated if I didn't show up. I got to school only to find out she wasn't there. I called her cell phone repeatedly, she never picked up. Finally, I called her cousin to see if something happened. Her cousin told me that she was in the bed asleep. I was outraged! I called my Mom, and she sent my Dad to go pick her up. My BFF finally showed up, and she said the only reason she came was because my Dad bought her some Burger King.
