"She ditched the popular kids for me!"

I didn't know anybody when I moved to a new town last year. On the first day of school, a girl named Katie was assigned to give me a tour. We hit it off right away, and within a few weeks, we were inseparable. About halfway into the school year, the "popular" kids invited her to one of their parties. When Katie found out that I hadn't been invited, she decided to skip the party, and we had our own! The party turned out to be a total dud, but we had a great time that night!
