"She stopped being my friend because of my religion!"

Jessica and I became friends at the beginning of high school. We met in homeroom, and hung out together every day during the beginning of the year. We started getting really close, and I was beginning to consider her one of my best friends -- until she asked me what my religion is. When I told her that I was Jewish, she clammed up and started acting strangely. The next day, a mutual friend told me that Jessica wanted to send me the message that she didn�t want to be friends with me anymore! I can�t believe she�s acting like this, but if she really doesn�t want to be my friend because of our differences, then I know I�m better off without her!
