"She canceled on me after I changed all my plans for her!"

My best friend and I were so excited when we were nominated "best female friends" for our high school yearbook. The entire week after we won, she constantly reminded me that we were taking our yearbook picture the following Monday at 9 a.m. That weekend, my family and I went out of town to stay at my grandparents� house, but I insisted that we leave a day early, so I could make it back to school in time to take the picture. We didn�t get back until very late Sunday night, and I was so tired on Monday morning that I almost skipped school. But I knew how devastated my BFF would be if I didn�t show up for the picture, so I dragged myself out of bed and went to school anyway. I got to school only to find that she wasn�t there! I called her house and her Dad told me that she was taking a "personal day." I was so outraged that after all that hassling, she decided it wasn�t worth it. I can�t believe she made me cancel my plans for a commitment she didn�t even pull through on!
