I was devastated when my boyfriend of a year suddenly dumped me. All of my other friends had boyfriends, and after my break up, they usually ditched me to hang out with them -- except for my BFF. On a night that I was feeling particularly “blah,” her BF bought her tickets to see her favorite band. Instead of going, she hung out with me and we had a girls’ night.
