"She stole my password and sent my friends nasty messages!"
My BFF and I have been friends for eight years and do everything together. After school, we usually hang out at one of our houses and go on Instant Messenger. One day, I wrote my password on a piece of paper and left it near her computer. I was totally confused at school the next day when all of my friends were avoiding me. I didn’t know that my “BFF” had stolen my password, logged on as me, and sent all of my friends nasty messages! When I finally figured out what had gone on, I confronted my friend and she apologized. I’m sure she’s sorry, but now I remember not to keep anything out around her that I want to be kept secret -- and, to be safe, I change my password once every few weeks!
