"She helped herself to a five-finger discount on my furniture!"

My supposed BFF has been lying to me for two years! This girl and I were like sisters -- we were always together; we even moved in together. Well, I started noticing little sneaky stuff like her hitting on my boyfriend behind my back, taking little things that belonged to me without returning them, and somehow I ended up paying for everything in the apartment. She was basically getting a free ride. I decided to move back to West Virginia with my Dad after she moved back in with her Mom. I left my rental furniture in our apartment to be picked up. A few days later she called saying some of it had been stolen, only to find out that the whole time she and her friends stole all of the furniture out of my apt: a couch, a loveseat, three glass tables, a big screen T.V., and a whole bedroom set. But here's the best part�they sold it! I had to call the cops, and I think she got arrested. Now I might be sued for all the furniture. This is what I get for being nice to a "friend."
