"She came to my grandpa's funeral!"

When my grandpa died, it was really hard for me because it was unexpected. At his funeral, I had to sit in the front row with the rest of my family. My BFF from 1st grade to 5th grade was sitting in the back, but I didn't know it. She was with another friend of mine. Towards the end of the funeral, my family stood up, and the people at the funeral came to the front to see my grandpa in the casket and hug and shake hands with us. My grandpa knew a lot of people, so there were a lot people I had to hug and shake hands with. When the line was slowing down, I saw my ex-BFF and my other friend. They both gave me huge hugs and said how sorry they were for me. That made me smile for the rest of the day because I knew she still cared about me. We may not be BFFs anymore, but she will always be one of my friends!
