Step 1:

Braids are more popular than ever! For Hayden's hairstyle, it might help to have slightly dirty hair, 'cause it's easier to work with.

Step 2:

Using a comb, section off a small portion of hair from the front (about 2 inches from your forehead) and secure the rest of your hair in a ponytail or clip.

Step 3:

Apply a light mousse to the hair at hand so that it's easier to twist into braids. Divide hair into 2 sections by parting your hair where you normally would. Then tightly twist each section into French braids on either side, stopping at your ears.

Step 4:

Use two bobby pins on each side (criss-crossing them over each other) -- or small rubber bands the same color as your hair -- to secure the French braids. Spritz your 'do with a spray gel, let your hair down, and voilà!
