Put On A Pretty Face…
On average, how many different tools and products do you use?
Bobbi: We use about six different products: Two or three for the eyes, one or two for the cheeks and lips, and then face products like foundation and concealer. We usually use about four to five different tools, but that can vary depending on if the artists like to use their fingers. I love using my fingers to apply products if I can!
Lisa: It completely depends on the make-up. Some make-ups are very simple, using only four or five products, while some can use over 30! For example, make-up artists will often mix many lipsticks together before finding the shade they are looking for.
Bobbi: I recommend applying a blemish cover stick in the same color as your skin tone directly onto the zit. Then dust a bit of bronzing powder over it to have it blend into the skin perfectly.
Lisa: You can also try using a green-toned concealer to help tone down redness but be very, very sparing with your application. Then cover with a color the same as your skin tone.
