Hey to all! Welcome to Just A Girl.

My name is Kaci Brown, and this is my blog! This is such a great way to fill you all in on what's going on in my life! I'm stoked!

This past Tuesday was the Fourth of July; one of my favorite times of the year! I'm so proud to live in such a diverse nation, with such dynamic people and endless opportunities. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

For the last four years, I've celebrated downtown Nashville. This year was different. Due to the fact that I'm currently in California, my grandmother and best friend, Darla, flew in to be with me, and several others close to my heart. We had amazing burgers and hot dogs. (smiles)

I was definitely NOT passed the talent of cooking, but between my mother's homemade salsa and my grandmother's homemade ice cream, I had to have gained ten pounds! We watched fireworks on the beach for about an hour, and had a few sparklers of our own.

I heard from Cameron. He was one of my dancers on last summer's BSB Never Gone tour. He couldn't help but remind me that this day last year was the day I WRECKED HIS BEAMER! Oops! LOL. I didn't mean to! See, I was backing out of my driveway around 11pm to pick a girlfriend, who had been locked out of her house. Of course I was on the phone. She's crying, and I'm trying to get there as fast as possible. As soon as the garage door opened, I was out of there. Not realizing Cameron hadn't left my house, I backed right into and down the side of his pride and joy. Needless to say, I was a few thousand dollars out, and ended picking him up for the last week of rehearsals.

Fortunately, I did not get into any kind of accident this year. Although, my new puppy seems to have them often. He's yet to get the whole "going-on-a-potty-pad" concept. No worries, I have faith he'll get it, eventually. Anyway, Hope everyone had a great 4th!
