Fashionistas don't really need an excuse to get dressed up, but the pre-opening Gala for The Costume Institute is certainly the year's biggest! Known for its star-studded red carpet of celebs and designers, this party is fashion's biggest, priciest ($7,500 for a SEAT!) and most glamorous! This years exhibition, "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion," was a lavish tribute to iconic models. Fittingly, loads of gorgeous runway divas flooded the carpet with celebs attempting their best to keep up. Unfortch, few could compete! Click for some amazing and awful couture creations!
