Picking Out Clothes

Even though the day we hung out, Alison was sifting through high-end designs, she says she usually shops at smaller, lesser-known boutiques: "That's the way you find things," she says. "And I think there are a lot of great local boutiques in small towns. Like Omaha has a lot of fun, new little shops. And when I was performing in Ann Arbor, I went to this cute little dress shop there. I was just wandering around, and finding the store was a total surprise. They had incredible stuff. I bought a jumper that I wore in the 'Come On, Come Out' video."
