For tips on how to get Mischa's perfect blowout, we went straight to Fabrice Gili, creative director for Frédéric Fekkai SoHo in New York City. On damp, towel-dried hair, Fabrice recommends using a wide-toothed comb to distribute a leave-in conditioner, followed by a nickel-sized amount of straightening balm. Next, flip your head over and blow-dry your hair until it's 70 percent dry. "Using a natural boar bristle round brush, grasp the hair starting at the root," Fabrice says. "Gently glide the brush through the hair following its natural direction and pull through to the ends. Don't turn the brush; it rubs your hair in the wrong way and creates frizz." Finish off your 'do with blast of cool air, and a light smoothing cream to tame flyaways.
