Jessica Alba: Traditional Updo

"Jessica Alba's look appears to be a traditional bun, slightly deconstructed," says Helen Park, a stylist at the Bumble and Bumble Uptown Salon in New York City. "For this particular look, spray damp hair with [a leave-in conditioner] all over, and blow out with a round brush to give you some volume. When blow-drying, concentrate on the roots to give yourself root lift -- it will make the style fuller, so it doesn't stick flat to your head. Once dry, apply [a texturizing spray] all over and work in with your fingers. You can take single sections and twirl with your finger to help add the soft wave Jessica has. Then wrap your hair into a loose bun and pin in the back with bobby pins."
