Finding a stylist: "Keep your eyes open to see who has great hair in your town and ask them about their stylist" says Danilo. "Try to set up an appointment [with the stylist] to do a sample run before prom."

Getting the style right: "Bring a photo of your gown with you to your hair appointment," says Christo. "Because if your dress is busy, you don't want your hair to be busy. However, if your dress is simple, you can do a fancier updo."

Take a cue from Cameron: If your dress is ruffly, you wanna keep your hair sleek, not curly. You want to find a hairstyle that matches your dress, so your hair and dress aren't competing with each other.
