Say Hello To Eco-Girl

How would you describe Summer's style this season?
She's in college at Brown, and is kind of an eco-girl. She meets this guy there named Shay, and he gets her into all these different causes. So while she's in her eco phase, we're dressing her in lots of beige and brown, and vintage-looking sweaters like this one. She's also wearing t-shirts with all sorts of captions on it, saying things like "more trees, less bush."

Do you mix a little of Rachel Bilson's own fashion flavor into Summer's outfits?
Oh, yeah! We talk with the producers and the actors about the looks we come up with, and how they want to go forward with them. It's funny, Rachel asked the other day, "When do I get to start wearing cute clothes again?" And I said, not until you get out of your eco phase!
