Pretty In Pink: Shop For A Cure!

October's here, and you're probably thinking about which Halloween costume to buy, carving pumpkins, and how you can avoid having to take your little brothers trick-or-treating. Good times are coming, but for thousands of women worldwide, October's about a lot more than cool parties, costumes, and candy. It's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You're never too young to make a difference. No woman, young or old, is immune to breast cancer. Did you know that The American Cancer Society estimates that a woman in the United States has a 1 in 8 chance of developing invasive breast cancer during her lifetime? So what can you do to help, besides looking pretty in pink? Making a difference is as simple as shopping for your favorite beauty swag! If you pick a pink-friendly product, a portion of the money you spend will go towards breast cancer research. So, the bottom line is, it's time to do your part. Everybody's doing it!
