1. Line up!

Give yourself -- and your sharpener -- a break, and buy a self-sharpening lip liner like Clinique's Quickliner for Lips ($13.50, clinique.com). Also, for a believable pucker, go for a nude liner that's just a shade or two darker than your natural lip color (we like Clinique's Honeystick shade). And, lastly -- this is the fun part! -- connect the dots! After swiveling your lip liner up an 1/8 of an inch, draw two dots on your upper lip's bow, and a dash across the bottom of your lower lip. Then connect all three marks, and voila! Your lips are lined and ready.
