After meeting Black Eyed Peas founder will.i.am, Fergie was asked to sing on their track, "Oh Mama" in 2003. The band was so impressed by her performance they decided to make her an official Black Eyed Pea. After joining the group, Fergie decided to go by her childhood nickname instead of Stacy. "My grandpa's Fergie, my dad's Ferg, and I'm Junior," she recently explained to People magazine. In addition to her unique name, Fergie's also known for her unique style. More often than not, you'll find her onstage appearing as she does here -- with boots, baggy pants, chain belt, and a fitted crop top.
